Pollinator Bed

Size: Bed with a variable L-shape; long side is roughly 60 by 16 feet; short side is roughly 22 by 12 feet
Light: Full sun
Moisture: Dry
Challenges & solutions: This bed tends to become overgrown quickly with different types of sunflowers and coneflowers. Early each season we make sure the different clumps of perennials have space around them so once they grow, the clump is defined and won’t take over another area. When the clumps get too large, they get divided.
